"More Spores for Hoppip" — Limited Event Guide

Event Period: March 9 (1:00 PM PDT) — March 24 (12:59 PM PDT), 2026

Pokopia's first limited-time event. Collect Cotton Spores falling across the world, exchange for exclusive spring picnic furniture, and attract Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. These 3 Pokemon become permanently unavailable after the event ends.

Prerequisites

✓Must have at least one fully rebuilt Pokemon Center in your town
Cloud Islands (online servers) do NOT support this event

How the Event Works

Collect Cotton Spores

Special Cotton Spores fall randomly across all regions during the event. Walk over them to collect.

Exchange for Exclusive Furniture

Visit the shop to trade Cotton Spores for spring picnic themed items: Floral Cushion, Picnic Blanket, Juice Set, and more.

Build "Field-trip Friends" Habitat

Use the new picnic furniture to create the special habitat. Hoppip will appear at your Pokemon Center.

Evolve to Skiploom & Jumpluff

Continue upgrading the habitat with more event furniture to attract Skiploom and eventually Jumpluff.

Time Travel Exploit

Like Animal Crossing, Pokopia's event system is tied to the Switch 2 system clock. Players have discovered you can access the event outside its official dates:

1. Go to Switch 2 System Settings → Date & Time
2. Turn OFF "Synchronize Clock via Internet"
3. Manually set the date to any day between March 9-24, 2026
4. Launch the game — event content will be active

Warning: Time traveling may affect other time-based mechanics in the game (crop growth, daily resets, etc.).

Mystery Gift: Ditto Rug

Pre-order bonus players can claim the Ditto Rug furniture item:

1. Play for approximately 30 minutes to unlock the Mystery Gift menu
2. Go to Menu → Mystery Gift → Receive via Internet
3. The Ditto Rug will be added to your furniture inventory
